A lovely Thonet no. 14 chair, this chair is a dark honey colour with a lovely patina on the top and seat.  The embossed patterned seat is still visible, and the chair is stable and sturdy.  The label has gone missing along the way.  It is the same as our others however and likely to be from the late 1920s.

Has some wear and tear as expected for a vintage piece -- a few marks and scuffs, slight shrinkage to the seat and small splits at the rear. We have used Danish oil and bees wax to clean it up in the workshop and make the patina shine. it has a lovely smooth finish.
