Thonet’s design of the no. 14 chair for Viennese cafes, this is an original by Mundus & J.J Kohn. This chair is a deep walnut colour with a lighter brown patina on the seat and back. The embossed peacock patterned seat is clear and in good condition. Label is still visible but a bit worn. Lovely smooth finish and good shine to the wood. Ready to use.

This is a lovely chair for any modern or antique living room, sturdy and fully useable chair. It has wear and tear as expected for its vintage -- a few marks and scuffs, slight shrinkage to the seat and small splits at the rear. We have used Danish oil and bees wax to clean it up in the workshop and make the patina shine.
 
This chair matches chair III. and could easily be a pair.
